TheSecond Fiddle hosts the finest late evening Trad sessions the city has to offer and you can sit back and enjoy from 8.30pm onwards featuring the likes of Mairead Forde and Plenty in the Tank.
We’ve got entertainment all evening at the Onion every Saturday with some of the best local bands Belfast has to offer! Expect super talented guitarists, insane vocalists, and music that brings a unique and entertaining arrangement of contemporary songs.
Bands that grace the stage regularly are Drum and Bates, The Overknights and Jav & Dave.
The session kicks off from 3pm to 1am.
TheSecond Fiddle gets traditional on Saturdays and offers a fantastic chilled alternative from The Dirty Onion with trad music offered all evening from 3pm.
We love a chill Sunday but that doesn’t mean we can’t offer some fantastic tuneage on stage throughout the day and you never know… things might just get lively! Expect music from Tabitha Smyth, Lorcan Nelson and Scott Mac. Artists may change at the last minute.

The Second Fiddle is the place to be on Sundays if you’re looking for a hangover cure and some chilled vibes. We have Open Sessions on the first Sunday of every month beginning at 7pm for local singer/songwriters. Pop in or DM us to get a slot.
